HDS Work Term Report

Editorial + Report // 2018

As part of the Visual Communications program we are required to take part in two work
term positions. For my second work term, I worked as a junior designer at Hartman Design
Studio. This editorial piece was my final report for the class. The report was in editorial
form, as that is the main work and focus of the studio, and I based many of my design
decisions on pieces that were created by the studio, and techniques that I learned throughout
the work term. There are many small connections and details throughout this piece, relating
to projects that I worked on during my placement, discussions we had, the branding/identity
of the studio, and my personal experience of the work term.
