I am a graphic designer, a problem solver, a mess maker, an outdoor enthusiast,
a copywriter, and over all, a creative human being.
I am driven to design through a fundamental curiosity that is rarely satisfied, and a predisposed
nature to view things differently. My creative practice is ever evolving and growing, but remains
grounded in conceptual thinking and an explorative process. I enjoy the research, development,
and brainstorming phase of projects, and I believe that a strong concept is the key to
successful work.
Connections are important within my process, whether it be connecting design choices with
reasoning, connecting with the intended audience, or connecting with other creatives
collaboratively. I am passionate about people, sustainability, the outdoors, wit, good concepts,
humour, laughter, good typography, books, music, and countless other things; and these
interests all inform my design practice for the better.
When not chipping away at projects (or practicing my comedic routines on friends) I can be
generally be found outside, singing ABBA, playing with watercolours, travelling, reading a
book, trying yet another banana bread recipe, crafting a playlist, waxing poetic in my notes
app, volunteering, or taking a nap.
I’m Meg, and I’m a creative.
