Banff Soul Ski + Bike

Banff Soul Ski + Bike is a local ski and bike shop located in Banff, Alberta. I’ve been working
with the shop since October 2020, in both a retail and marketing/design perspective. I have had
the majority of control over the shop’s social media accounts, website, weekly newsletters and
creation of blog posts and assets.

Three main goals coming into my position with Soul were creating a more consistent brand
identity, an update to the shop’s website, and being more active within the shop’s social media presence.

Through more consistent design, fonts, and colour, along with creating icons and motifs for the shop,
the brand has become more reliable and recognizable. I have used design tactics to connect the brand
visually through all outlets, whether that be newsletter, blog posts, social media posts, or print material.
The shop has worked with local photographers for content, along with the content that I develop.
As well – I simplified the content visually on our sites, to bring them more in line with the simplicity of
Soul’s logo, and the overall minimalistic, but focused, appearance of the shop.
